Ondřej Soukup is the foreign news editor of Hospodářské noviny. Despite his original resolutions, he has been dealing with Russia and other post-Soviet states for almost twenty years. As a child, he was taken by his parents to the then Soviet Union, which later turned out to be fatal. He studied history and archiving in Moscow and Prague.
