Yarmat

is a paraphrase of the Breton proverb “Yerc’h mad” or “Yec’hed mat,” which means “cheers” in Breton.

About the Theatre

The Yarmat Theatre is located in Dolné Orešany. It presents performances for both adults and children, organizes Slovak-Czech workshops on physical theatre, and hosts Cirque au chapeau – Circus under the Hat workshops for children and youth.

The theatre also hosts theatrical performances and concerts, provides space for artistic residencies for acrobats, and offers rehearsal space for affiliated drama theatres.
