In the headquarters of Líšeň Theater, in the garden of Pavla and Luďek, a plum tree grew,

on which nothing had borne fruit for more than a decade. However, its owners spoke of it with kindness and gave it a chance again and again.

And then came the harvest. A tremendous harvest.

This horticultural memory serves as a metaphor for one of the most beautiful characteristics of Líšeň Theater, which

does not lose faith in the vitality of trees, places, and people.

Old theater halls designed for demolition, neglected gardens, and forgotten audiences. It addresses postponed but important topics and takes the time to find suitable means of expression. I am glad to be a part of it.

Perhaps back then they just didn’t want to cut it down. But otherwise, everything holds true.
