Provocative theater inspires not only before the election

In October, the Líšeň Theater presents performances and discussions from the Provoking Theater project. It opens the topic of Russian influence,totalitarian government and its methods, recalls the crimes of communism and fascism and the form of hateful ideologies today.

The October performances will begin on Wednesday, October 6, with the play Putin Skis, which is staged on the piazza in front of the Janáček Theater. The playwill be followed at the Desert Club by a discussion with journalist Jana Ustohalová (Deník N) on the topic Are We Towards Russian Democracy? What is the status of our company? Jana Ustohalová is an investigative journalist, editor of Deník N.
She worked as an editor at MF DNES in Brno for seventeen years. She deals with news from Brno, politics, the non-profit sector, investigative cases, social issues and writes reports from the regions. She won two Journalist Awards, in 2016 for regional journalism, and in 2020 for the best reportage.

In October, two more plays with discussions will be presented as part of the Provoking Theater in Brno project, namely on 11. October at 7.30 pm in the CED cellar stage – GUARD’S CONFESSION + discussion with the former Senate and President of the Supreme Court, Eliška Wagnerová, and 15.- October. at 7.30 pm in the CED BLOOD HYGIENE CED cellar.
