About performance

The story of two popular frog friends (Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel) is extended through the figure of a storyteller – the strange lonely inhabitant of an old house.

The Frogs who have settled in his well-maintained pond cause him to dream. In his wicker armchbehind his window come in and entertains strange guests from the landscape of his imagination. Finally, he becomes a character himself in his own story…

The long-legged glove puppets are made out of wood and leather. Shiny paper fish swim in the play besides other wooden animals from Old Geezer´s garden. The stage is made of bark, wood and bamboo grown in the garden of artist Antonín Maloň.
