Provocative theater project – audition (PR and promotion)

The independent Brno Líšeň Theatre offers an opportunity for a paid intern in the project Provocative Theatre.

The Líšeň Theatre is launching a multi-year project called Provocative Theatre supported by the EHP and Norway Grants.

The project is focused on committed theater and includes:

• Presenting political and documentary plays by the Líšeň Theatre along with discussions;
• Collaboration with the prominent Icelandic puppeteer Bernd Ogrodnik and Norwegian performer Kate Pendry;
• Revival and presentation of the Roma performance “Paramisa” (featuring Roma musicians and actors);
• Implementation of a program for schools, and more.

For the project, we are looking for an intern in the position of promotion and PR.

Job description:

• Complete design of the project’s promotion
• Presentation of the project in the media
• Creating promotional texts
• Supervising the production of promotional materials
• Communication with suppliers (graphic designers, etc.)
• Coordination of temporary workers (leaflet distribution, etc.)
• Social media management

Requirements:

• Secondary/Higher education; study or practical experience in marketing and PR
• General overview of cultural and political events in the Czech Republic
• Knowledge of working with social media
• Ability to use basic graphic software (preparation of press materials)
• Excellent knowledge of Czech language, ability to create texts
• Creative, responsible, and independent approach to tasks
